The Nebraska/Iowa Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) held its annual awards celebration “impactFUL” Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Happy Hollow Club in Omaha, NE. Awards celebrating great interior design in both commercial and residential projects were bestowed upon chapter members.  The Awards process begins earlier in the year, when members are asked to submit their design projects for judging.  Independent ASID members of other Chapters, many of them sitting board members, are solicited to judge. This year’s judges were from Arizona, Florida and Tennessee.  Projects are judged blindly and independently against a set of established criteria, and not comparatively with other submitted projects.  Since each is judged on its own merit, there is opportunity for many winners in each category.
